KDE on opensuse

to install KDE instade of gnome :
1-method

zypper install -t pattern kde4 kde4_basis

we edit /etc/sysconfig/ with Yast  Desktop -> Display manager -> DISPLAYMANAGER

and change value to kdm4 not just kdm

 2-method
use Yast to install the KDE or other (xfce...)
lunch Yast and change display to patterns or shemas (in french) and choose witch environment you want to install
